Integration Overview
The Smart Metering & Sensor Gateway is ideal for remote utility and smart‑city deployments where meters and field sensors must be monitored without on‑site power or network infrastructure. It connects directly to water, electricity, and BTU meters, including bulk water meters across city water networks, as well as pressure, flow, environmental, leakage, and other field sensors. The gateway securely transmits consumption data and critical alarms to the cloud over NB‑IoT or LoRaWAN, enabling utilities to detect leaks, monitor supply‑demand patterns, and manage distribution more efficiently. Its battery‑operated, ruggedized design makes it perfectly suited for underground chambers, valve boxes, district cooling plants, irrigation networks, and remote utility assets where long‑term, maintenance‑free operation is essential. By enabling reliable data acquisition in harsh or inaccessible environments, the gateway supports accurate billing, network optimization, predictive maintenance, and city‑wide digital transformation initiatives.
