Yes. Our approach is to integrate with what is already installed. Buildings are monitored through the existing BMS on a read-only basis, PLCs connect through edge gateways and protocol converters, and AI Video Analytics runs on compatible existing IP cameras.
It depends on range, power and data rate. LoRaWAN suits battery sensors over long distances, NB-IoT uses operator networks, long range wireless carries higher bandwidth links, and NTN satellite reaches remote sites without terrestrial coverage. Our RF survey confirms the right option.
